02.02.2016 The Senate Judiciary Committee gave this bill a favorable report as amended. The amendment makes changes to the appointment and structure of the state Ethics Commission. It also provides new procedures for the investigation of ethics complaints against elected officials.
01.20.2015 The House Judiciary Committee gave this bill a favorable report as amended by the subcommittee last week. The subcommittee added the language from H3185 to this bill. H3185 adds a chapter in the current law that changes and expands penalties for ethics violations.
