Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This bill requires that any service contracts entered into with a local government contain specific performance and cost parameters. The contractor will submit quarterly reports to the governing authority showing compliance with those parameters, and local governments would be authorized to terminate a contact if the parameters are not met. Further, local governments are authorized to terminate contracts any time that federal, state or local laws/regulations are broken. |
