Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This bill changes the definition of 'qualifying airline' for purposes of the sales and use tax exemption for jet fuel. For applicability of the exemption to state sales tax as well as to TSPLOST, a 'qualifying airline' must have incurred an aggregate states sales tax liability of $15 million or less.
