Staff Analysis of the Legislation
This proposed enabling constitutional amendment provides for the comprehensive revision of ESPLOST, allowing for the use by school districts of a portion of ESPLOST proceeds for operational expenses. If approved, it will be implemented by HB 781. This would not affect county SPLOSTs.
