Staff Analysis of the Legislation
This legislation removes the population cap of 950,000 from the statute regarding disposition of law library funds.  With the 2020 census count several large counties may exceed the 950,000 population count, which under existing law then have all law library funds sent to the county general fund with restrictions on the use of the funds.
