Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This legislation creates the Georgia Business Court and provides for the salaries of the Judge and all employees as well as the operating expenses through the state budgets. The creation of the court will not impact local budgets. This legislation was amended to include SB 38 which provides for an exemption for counties for the payment of the mandatory e-filing fee in civil cases. For full summary please click here. |
