This legislation creates a new definition of "conviction" in O.C.G.A. 16-8-1. The new definition reads - 'Conviction' means a final judgment of conviction entered upon a verdict, a finding of guilty of a crime or upon a plea of guilty, or a plea of nolo contendere. |
