Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This bill establishes a state "Cybersecurity Task Force", consisting of 11 members to be appointed by the House Speaker and Lieutenant Governor, to recommend security and privacy/public safety protection requirements for computing devices in Georgia. It will also examine methods the state may use to encourage companies to invest in better security devices for the Internet of Things. |
