Staff Analysis of the Legislation

Amend 47-2-244 relating to optional benefits available to appellate court judges.  This bill would provide that appellate court judges who make the option to receive a certain enhanced retirement benefit may retire after attaining the age of 50 with 12 years of serve as an appellate court judge.
