Staff Analysis of the Legislation

SR 279 is a proposed amendment to the Constitution of Georgia.  This resolution would provide for staggered, four-year terms of office for members of the Senate.  This resolution would also provide that members of the House be elected to terms and in a manner as provided by general law.
