Amend Article 1 of Chapter 2 of Title 40.  Relating to the registration and licensing of motor vehicles.  This bill would require the establishment by the DOR of an internet website for stolen and towed motor vehicles displaying the vehicle�s VIN and license plate number along with a notation of the location where such vehicle is stored and a contact umber for such facility.  Each operator who fails timely post will be subject to a civil penalty of $1,000.  Any person who tampers with such website will be guilty of a misdemeanor of a high and aggravated nature.
