Amend 47-2-334. This bill would affect law enforcement officers who were employed prior to July 1, 1982 by the GBI as a narcotics agent.  Such persons with at least 34 years of service would be authorized to retire without regard to age and, upon retirement, would receive a service retirement allowance that would have been payable if the member continued in service until 65.
