HB 1006 proposes to create a new judicial circuit that would be called the Walton Judicial Circuit. It lists the conditions for the district attorney and judges regarding terms, selection, and compensation. This would be effective as of February 1, 2009. Alcovy County and Walton County judges would split into each of the new judicial circuits rather than assigning a new judge.
