HB 578 amends Article 2 of Chapter 11 of Title 16 of the O.C.G.A. so as to change the offense of harassing phone calls to the offense of harassing communications. It also expands the prohibition to include repeated electronic communication with the purpose of annoying, harassing, molesting, threatening, or intimidating a recipient after the recipient has informed the sender to stop the communication. |
