HR 768 seeks to
create the House Study Committee on Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse. The
committee shall be composed of 5 members of the House to be appointed by the
Speaker of the House. The Speaker shall also appoint two non-legislative
members of the committee. The Speaker shall designate one of the legislative
appointees as chairperson of the committee. The duty of the committee shall be
to undertake a study of the conditions, needs, issues, and problems in regard
to its focus area. It further delineates allowances and funding as well as the
reporting measures to be taken by the committee. The committee shall stand
abolished on December 1, 2016. |
