HB 957 seeks to amend Article 3 of Chapter 9 of Title 15 of the O.C.G.A. relating to cost and compensation regarding the probate courts. The bill inserts a subsection (b) which directs judges and clerks of the probate courts to post public notice of the availability of the affidavit of indigence whenever fess are collected and on any website owned and operated for the official business of the judge or clerk.
