HB 1070 amends O.C.G.A. Article 1 of Chapter 8 of Title 19, relating to adoption, and allows for the Department of Human Services to make use of any information contained in the records of the department concerning an adopted child and the adopted child's biological parents relative to the placement of another child in the home of the adoptive parents or relative to the investigation of a report of child abuse or neglect concerning the adopted child’s biological parents.
