            HB 41 seeks to amend Chapter 5 of Title 21 of the O.C.G.A. relating to ethics in government.

            Code Section 21-5-11 is revised through the removal of the word “honorarium” and its replacement with the term “other valuable consideration” in regard to elected public officers’ acceptance of monetary fees in excess of $100.
