HB 87 amends Title 47 O.C.G.A., relating to retirement and pensions, so as  to provide for the revision, modernization, and correction of any errors  and omissions contained within the title.

       There are no substantive legal changes within the Act, as it merely clarifies verbiage contained  within the original Title 47 O.C.G.A. In addition, the Act dictates that in the event of a conflict between any provisions of this Act and the  provisions of another Act enacted during the 2015 regular session of the General Assembly, the provisions of the former Act will supersede those contained within this Act to resolve said conflict.
