SB 68 revises O.C.G.A. ยง 16-11-129 by creating a new subsection (m)(1), which requires an applicant to successfully complete a handgun education course before receiving a weapons carry license or renewal license. The education course shall be offered by an organization approved by the Department of Public Safety. Furthermore, this bill provides the course outline.
