SB 67 revises O.C.G.A. ยง 16-11-127 regarding the carrying of weapons in government buildings by deleting subsection (e)(1). Said section stipulates that any license holder shall be authorized to carry a weapon into a government building as long as entrance into such building is not restricted or screened by security personnel. If such license holder carries a weapon into such building they shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, provided that if the holder leaves the premises immediately, they shall not be guilty. |
