HB 273 revises O.C.G.A. ยง 27-5-5, by allowing for all species of order Eulipotyphla, except the African pygmy hedgehog, to be sold, purchased, and held as a pet without a license or permit, provided that the hedgehog owner shall provide documentation proving that the hedgehog was sexually neutered prior to two months of age and vaccinated against rabies.
