HB 274 amends Article 1 of Chapter 7 of Title 53 of the O.C.G.A., relating to powers and duties regarding the administration of estates, by adding a code section. New Code Section 53-7-9 gives personal representatives authority to take control of a decedents digital accounts, such as social networking sites, email and blogs. |
