HB 331 amends O.C.G.A. Part 3 of Article 4 of Chapter 11 of Title 16, relating to the carrying and possession of firearms. HB 331 requires that the issuance of any weapons carry renewal license be subject to the completion of training. Every sheriff shall offer a handgun education course at least once every 60 days, free of charge to any resident of the state.
