HB 5 amends Article 2 of Chapter 11 of Title 15 of the OCGA by increasing the grant amount of judges. Juvenile court judges who are not superior court judges will receive a State grant of $100,000. However, this removes their eligibility for additional state grants. Part-time judges will also receive higher grants: one day part-time will receive $20,000, two days part-time will receive $44,000, three days part-time will receive $60,000, and four days part-time will receive $80,000.
