SB 11 amends Title 37 of the OCGA by giving emergency medical technicians, cardiac technicians, and paramedics immunity from liability with the admission or discharge of a patient from a facility and immunity from liability for failing to meet applicable standards of care with a patient. In addition, SB 11 adds that any physician may execute a physician’s certificate under a medical technician, cardiac technician, or paramedic. |
