Staff Analysis of the Legislation
SB 20 amends Chapter 2 of Title 21 of the OCGA by adding that special elections with the intent of raising revenue can only be held on the Tuesday after the First Monday in November of each year, in addition to being at least 29 days after the date of the call for the special election.
