Staff Analysis of the Legislation

SB 34 amends Chapter 2 of Title 21 of the OCGA by stating that an elector who registered to vote but did not comply with Code Section 21-2-220 must provide ID by providing the polling staff a Georgia driver’s license, valid Georgia voter ID card issued under Code Section 21-2-417.1, passport, valid employee ID with a photograph, military ID, tribal ID with a photograph, or a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the name and address of the elector.
