HB 140 amends ยง 45-15-2 of the O.C.G.A. by requiring that at the end of each fiscal year the Attorney General must review the performance of each attorney at law under independent contract to the Department of Law who has been appointed or designated as an assistant attorney general. By October 1st following the end of the
fiscal year, the Attorney General then reports to the chair of the House and
Senate Committee on Appropriations that the review has been conducted and its
results. |
