HB 130 creates the Emanuel County Development Authority. It
shall consist of seven members who will be appointed by the governing Authority
of Emanuel County. The Authority will
handle the acquisition, construction, improvement, betterment, expansion, and
extensions in development. Some developments may require bonds, which shall be
issued and validated in the Superior Court of Emanuel County in the same way
that revenue bonds of municipalities are issued and validated. If no bill of exceptions
is filed then the bonds may be affirmed by the Supreme Court of Georgia. |
