HB 268 requires elected officials who are also poll officials to receive training at least 6 months in advanced to their time of duty. Section 3 initiates that independents on the ballots should qualify at the same time as republican and democrats. Section 8 elongates the period of time between mismatched names from 30 days to 26 months. Section 13 requires the board of elections to notify the public 90 days before voting begins about the location of the precincts |
