Staff Analysis of the Legislation
HB 293 amends Article 2 of Chapter 8 of Title 24 of the OCGA by adding subsection (b) to 24-8-820 stating that the code section (a), which is in reference to admissible evidence in testimonies with children under the age in 16 in regards to sexual acts or physical abuse, shall apply to any motion made or hearing or trial commenced after the effective date of subsection 24-8-820.
