HB 303 amends Article 3 of chapter 13 of Title 19 of the OCGA by changing the State Commission on Family Violence member requirements on line 22 from three advocates for "battered women" to "victims of family violence," Line 40-41 from "Men Stopping Violence" to a family violence interventio program, and changing the serving times to reflect current terms. In addition, the terms have been exended to three years, and no member shall serve more than two consectuvie terms. Reimbursement or compensation will be issued to legislative members of the commission. |
