HB 367 amends Chapter 1 of Title 45 of the OCGA. HB 367 creates a new subsection that states the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in cooperation with the Administrative Office of the Courts, the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of the State of Georgia, and the Georgia Public Defender Council, shall make a request form for Certificates for Redacted Information. The form will request redacting personal contact information off of any entity website or internet access point for any public safety official or their relatives. Public safety officials wishing to redact their information must submit the form to their department head, and if granted, will last for 10 years. The redacted information should not appear on any public filings.  Effective January 1, 2018.
