HB 371 amends Chapter 33 of Title 36 of the OCGA. Section 36-33-1 by clarifying that Article I, Section II, Paragraph IX and Code Section 36-33-5 must be adhered to, municipal corporations are immune from liability to the same extent that counties are immune, and when there is a joint project, facility or service between municipal corporations and a county, there cannot be a waiver of sovereign immunity if all parties have not waived it. |
