HB 391 amends § 19-10A of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated by adding fire stations and police stations to the list of safe places to leave a newborn baby. The baby cannot be older than 30 days or younger than one week. In addition, the mother now has the option to provide proof of identity or provide her name and address.
