Staff Analysis of the Legislation
HB 566 authorizes the chief magistrate of the Magistrate Court of Decatur County to impose and collect a county law library fee as part of the court cost for cases in that court. The provisions of Chapter 15 of Title 36 of the O.C.G.A. will apply to and govern the court on how to collect the taxes. The act will become effective 30 days after becoming law.
