SB 1 moves to amend Title 40 of the O.C.G.A to make it a felony to cause an automobile accident that results in bodily harm and leave the scene of the accident. Any person who violates this code section could be imprisoned for no more than 10 years and could have their driver’s license suspended for 3 years.
