HB 17 moves to amend Title 16 of the of the O.C.G.A by making it a misdemeanor to smoke inside a motor vehicle when an individual under the age of 13 is present in the vehicle, whether the vehicle is in motion or at rest. If the person in violation of the Code is deemed guilty, they will also be punished with a fine of $100.
