HB 27 moves to amend Title 21 of the O.C.G.A by allowing the electors of small municipalities (population of 2,500 or less) to create a referendum to shorten the period of time for advance voting in municipal elections and runoffs. Approval of such referendum would start the advance voting period on the second Monday prior to the election and end on the following Friday.
