Staff Analysis of the Legislation
HB 55 amends Code Section 16-11-151 of the O.C.G.A to disallow the production of 3-D printed firearms. The bill would add the aforementioned firearm to the list of prohibited weapons, defines the terms 3-D printed firearm, its potential criminal uses, and would establish punishments for those convicted of violating the legislation.
