SB 35 moves to amend Title 42 of the O.C.G.A the number of feet a sex offender is prohibited from residing or loitering of their former victims and such victims’ immediate family members from 1,000 to 2,000 feet. Exceptions include if this individual owns, leases, or resides in property within 2,000 feet prior to the victim or victims’ immediate family residing in said property.
