amends Code Section 13-8-51 and 13-8-53 of the O.C.G.A to revise the
restrictions that employers may impose upon information technology employees.
Under this legislation employers would not be able to legally mandate to these
individuals subscribe to any restrictive covenants unless said covenant
provided an additional consideration. The legislation would not be retroactive
to past contractual agreements before July 1, 2019. |
