HB 103 moves to amend Title 16 of the O.C.G.A to change provisions relating to restrictions on contingency fee compensation of an attorney appointed to represent the state in forfeiture actions. The legislation would require such appointment to be in writing and filed with the clerk of the court and would require copies to be provided to the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of the State of Georgia.
