307 moves to amend Title 15 to add
abandoned motor vehicle liens to magistrate court jurisdiction; 2) Amend Title
40 to enact the Abandoned Motor Vehicle Act, which would establish procedures
for the identification and removal of unattended vehicles, recovery for costs
associated with towing and storage of unattended vehicles, vehicle owner
notification, mechanics liens, and the judicial sale of abandoned vehicles; and
3) Amend Title 44 to require that unclaimed vehicles be listed on the Georgia
Unclaimed Property List. |
