Staff Analysis of the Legislation
HB 765 amends Title 15 of the OCGA to increase the base salary for chief and associate magistrates, clerks, and magistrate and probate judges by 5%. All recent cost-of-living adjustments issued as of have also been included in addition to the 5%. Any new cost-of-living adjustments effective after January 1, 2021 shall be calculated in accordance to this section.
