Staff Analysis of the Legislation

HB 759 amends Chapter 13 of Title 16 of the OCGA as part of its annual drug schedule update to make Georgia state law in accordance with federal law. The bill adds Solriamfetol and its derivatives to a list of Schedule IV controlled substances and 46 drugs to the dangerous drug definition. The drugs for Ethinamate and Lorcaserin hydrochloride are removed from this definition.
