Staff Analysis of the Legislation

HB 782 amends Chapter 4 of Title 1 of the OCGA to recognize and observe the first Tuesday after November 1st of each year as a public and legal holiday. The bill increases the minimum of days the Governor shall close all state offices and facilities each year from 12 to 13 days.
