HB 127 requires wireless service suppliers to provide the location information of a user’s device at the request of a law enforcement agency. The bill only allows law enforcement agencies to request such information in emergency situations that involve the risk of death or serious physical harm. HB 127 further provides immunity to wireless service suppliers against relief claims should they act in good faith. |
