SB 23 amends Article 1 of Chapter 3 of Title 50 of the OCGA to allow for local governments to relocate, remove, or in any other fashion alter publicly owned monuments with a duly adopted resolution. The bill further allows local governments to remove and return privately owned monuments located on public property with the adoption of a resolution permitting the act.
